Roundtable Discussion: Policies and Strategies for Securing Women’s Leadership and Engagement in the Productive Sector of our Countries

We are pleased to invite you to a Roundtable discussion on “Policies and Strategies for Securing Women’s Leadership and Engagement in the Productive Sectors of our Countries”. This event is being held within the context of the OAS Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Project and is organized by the OAS Secretariat for Integral Development (SEDI) in partnership with the OAS Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM). It will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, virtually via Zoom from 9:00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. (EST). The Roundtable will provide a space for discussion among public and private sector stakeholders in the WEE project participating countries of Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the wider Caribbean region, on policies and strategies for increasing women’s participation and leadership in the economy, as well as policy reforms needed for the same. The experiences and good practices shared during the event will be published on the WEE MSME Clearinghouse. Consultancy on Enabling Fintech Services for Governments and Women MSMEs in the Eastern Caribbean

The Secretariat for Integral Development (SEDI) of the General Secretariat of the Organization of the American States (GS/OAS) through the Women's Economic Empowerment Project invites suitable candidates to apply for the Consultancy on Enabling Fintech Services for Governments and Women MSMEs in the Eastern Caribbean. The objective of this consultancy is to develop a blueprint for key stakeholders, including Governments and Women MSMEs in the Eastern Caribbean, to gain access to fintech services for women entrepreneurs and MSME owners to benefit from the digital economy and increase their overall participation in the economy. Learn how to effectively utilize Fiverr and other platforms to outsource various business tasks, allowing you to focus on core operations and growth strategies.
